News/Updates Archives: May/June/July 2009

July 18, 2009

Have a review up for Jet Set Radio Future, something I've been meaning to do for a long time. Then there's a new comic, called Fiction, which I just finished making an hour before this update. Finally, here's a new video, showing that the Opa-Opa helmets are actually in Confidential Mission:

I only have one thing up for the 4th day of July, and it's a review for Heir of Zendor for the Saturn. It's what you've been dreaming of your entire life!

June 20, 2009

It's June. Wait, I already said that. This weekend, I put up a review for God Hand. Also (a word I'm noticing I'm saying a lot in these updates), I have another comic up, called Design.

It's June. What comes after that? July. Bet you didn't know that. First uploads for this month is a review for Neo Contra. It's a bit on the easy side, but I likes. Also have a new video, this one involving a certain agent that deals with zombies:

Well, it took about five months, but I finally put up another "Other Stuff" feature called Memorable Video Game Moments: Metal Slug 2/X's Trains. Not to be confused with the probably cancelled Greatest Moments in Video Game History series, which I don't think many people understood or liked... Also, I have a new comic up, which I almost forgot to make, titled Party Time.

Ugh, my brother's birthday... should have put this up yesterday. Have a review up for Metal Slug Anthology. Seven MS games on one disc is never a bad thing... Well, unless they were crap games. But they're not! Got some videos up, too. 16, to be exact. They're videos of VOOT matches I had online, and they were just sitting in a folder doing nothing. So, I put them together in these videos and uploaded them. Enjoy watching me kicking ass... and getting my ass kicked. It's actually about even:

Also, by request (don't start getting any ideas), I put up the golf course music themes from Neo Turf Masters:

RED!

Wait... no.

BROWN!

I had red up for a few hours, but it was starting to hurt my eyes, so I tried dark orange, but I had the same problem. So I'm now at brown.

GREEN!

I'll have the latest color for the site's fourth year up tomorrow. Anyway, got a freshly-baked review up for PowerUp Forever, a game you probably never heard of. Also, more Virtual On content! From the Saturn title. I was digging the music in the game when I was playing it during April, so I decided to upload character music theme videos. I know they're actually the stage themes, but it's easier this way for the original game:

I also made a video of..... the continue screens. Hey, it's pretty cool watching those people go to work on the Virtuaroids:
